17 weeks!

We have made it!!!! I finally feel pregnant! This will not be my normal update but hopefully it will be just as informative!

   We did the gender test a few weeks ago and I was really hoping to be able to load the videos up onto my blog. I am working on that still! It was alot of fun and I hope you enjoy them! We should be finding out the babies gender within the week! Hoping for next Monday!

    I am feeling so good, though have my moments of being so uncomfortable, which is crazy to me since I am not very far along and not very big! As you guys can see from the photo I posted earlier this week, I am getting a small baby bump, which I am very in love with!

    I have officially started to feel the baby move!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is the best! It has been about 2 weeks since I was confident I was feeling baby, but this week he/she has really picked up and it is more a bunch of little kicks instead of butterfly wings! Now I am just waiting for Jonathan to be able to feel this baby, he is going to be so cute! He is already so cute, he talks to my belly and is always rubbing and kissing on it! Such a fun experience!

 I have a midwife appointment today so I will try and do an official update tonight or tomorrow! ( I have no idea why the videos loaded in the middle of the blog post,  but I am sure you will enjoy them anyway!)

What is baby tests!!!!!

I am going to so a post on all the old wives tales about gender prediction. Be looking for it. It is going to be so fun!

I am having a great week. I really am feeling great and just can't wait to start really feeling this baby move!!! In the evening I am starting so look more pregnant and believe it or not, I can't wait to get bigger!!!

I am so excited to pregnant with some of my best friends ( not sure if it is public knowledge yet). This is going to be such a fun year!!!

Week 13!!!

How Far Along: 13 weeks!!

Size of Baby: The baby is the size of a Peach this week and measures about 4.1-4.5 inches. Baby is getting bigger, he has doubled in the last week!

What You’re Doing: Sorry it has been so long, I really hope I start doing better on this blog! Lena made it threw her surgery like a champ and it is like she is a new child, she sleep great and is now pain free. We had a great week of Christmas and enjoyed many family get together! I am on a brake from school for a couple more weeks and I am enjoying this very much.

Cravings: My newest craving is hard boiled eggs; I am getting of protein for sure!!! I have also wanted pickles but I don’t like saying that since it is such a prego thing to say!

Sleep: I am still not sleeping well, I talk to my midwife about it yesterday and she suggested a few vitamins to try and help with this. I do think I have restless leg syndrome and she suggested some things to help with this as well, hoping to figure this all out soon so I can start sleeping!!!!

Sex of Baby:  So I have a few different things I want to do for this section before we actually find out, this week I will go off of the heart beat. They say if the heart beat is over 140 it is a girl and below this number is a boy. Yesterday the babies heart rate was in the 160’s so that would make up team GIRL. There have been a lot of studies to disprove this old wives tale but it is fun to share!

Weight Gain: At my 9 week appointment I was back down to 131 and yesterday at my 13 week appointment I was at 132 so I have gained 1lb so far!

Maternity clothes: I have worn a few pants here and there, I mainly wear them in place of sweatpants if I am going to be going out all day!

Symptoms: I am pretty much symptom free!!!!!!!!!!!! It has been about 2 weeks since I threw up last and I am getting some energy back, which my house is very thankful for. The floors were starting to get pretty dirty! I still have some stretching and pulling in my belly but no other large symptoms!

What you’re looking forward to: I so want to feel this baby move! I know it could be a few more weeks, I don’t remember when I felt Lena move. 

What baby is doing this week: Baby is pretty much complete and will now grow and gain weight. His brain and lungs will still mature but he has all the same parts as we do!


Thoughts from Ellena:  She told me this morning that she will not love it if it is a girl. She only wants a boy baby! “I am wishing that he would grow so fast!”
